Bodee wasn't getting better so our doctor sent use down to Primarys in SLC. When we got there a team of doctors couldn't believe he was so sick because he didn't have to be on oxygen and was acting good. After they looked at the x rays that preston sent down they said that he would have to have a mass of fluid taken out through a chest tube. The doctors sent him to radiology and they would sedate him and put in one chest tube. When they went in with the chest tube the fluid didn't come out, it was to solid for them and they instently sent him in for a cat scan to see exactly what was going on. Those test came back that it was a fluid but more of a jello consitancy. The next day they told us that they would have to go in manully and scrape it out with cameras and there would be two chest tubes instead of one. That evening they did the surgery and all went good. Grandma Sommer , Grandpa and Grandma Smith came down to help me and Ryan get through the waiting period during the surgery. Brittney and Mckenzie came with some soup and they were so good to us. The following day Bodee was out of it and just wanted to sleep. We did have to get him up to use the bathroom and it was very painfull to watch him. The next day they took the tubes out and we got him up and took him for a few walks. He was starting to fill much better. I pushed him around in a cozy coop and he loved that. Every time he went out of his room he had to have on his Power Ranger mask that we bought at Wal Mart. All the doctors and nurses loved him and they were so good to work with. After a week we were able to go home and Bodee said he was so "essited" to be going home and we were as well. Two weeks of x-rays, blood tests, and ivs are two weeks too many. Thank you to all those that sent him toys, books, coloring books, and cryons they made the stay for Bodee a much butter one. I know through many prayers and priesthood blessing our paryer were answered and Bodee will be a healthy happy boy again.
